We all have days where we just don’t want to get out of bed, but life is calling so staying under the covers is not an option.   That was me yesterday.  I woke up  feeling a little blah, but still had to get up, take care of Zoe  and get to work (which includes 4 jobs).  But something happened before I really had a chance to wallow in my blah-ness.   God put a great idea in my head (I like to give Him the credit when things pop into my mind out of nowhere).  The idea-Think of 10 things you have to be grateful for.

Now I have never been one to practice positive thinking.   I’m not against it, but I’ve haven’t really tried the whole daily affirmation thing for myself.   But I’ve been practicing a bit of meditation and mindfulness with my therapist, in addition to watching a lot of Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday on Demand, so I’m more open.   I decided to give it a try and it actually made me feel better!   Now I’m eager to apply this positive thinking a bit more in my day to day.  Will keep you posted on my progress. If you haven’t tried it, you should.  What can it hurt?
